Fill a container or sink with hot water, using 1 scoop of SHYN Grime Lifter per 2 litres of water. Stir the water thoroughly to ensure the powder is completely dissolved before adding your filters.

Place your aluminium filters into the solution, making sure they are fully submerged. Within 30 seconds, you’ll see grease and fat begin to lift away on their own. By 2–3 minutes, the filters should be clean and ready to remove.

Do not leave aluminium filters soaking longer than necessary—many are made from low-grade material, and extended soaking can cause oxidation, which may permanently change their colour.

Once removed, rinse thoroughly with soapy clean water (using dishwashing liquid or SHYN Degreaser) or hose them out for a faster, more effective rinse. Shake off excess water and allow to dry fully before reinstalling.

Once the grime has loosened, use a SHYN Magic Eraser to gently wipe each slat in a single pass. This will remove any remaining residue without scratching the surface.

How to Clean Stained Clothes with SHYN Grime Lifter

Fill a bucket or sink with hot water, adding 1 scoop of SHYN Grime Lifter per 2 litres of water. Stir until the powder is fully dissolved.

Place the stained clothing into the solution and allow it to soak for a few hours, depending on the severity of the stains.

After soaking, either hand-wash gently or transfer the items directly into your washing machine for a normal wash cycle.

Rinse thoroughly to ensure all product is removed before drying.

How to Clean Light Covers, Fan Covers & Small Fixtures with SHYN Grime Lifter

Fill a bucket or tub with hot water and add 1 scoop of SHYN Grime Lifter per 2 litres of water, stirring until the powder is fully dissolved.

Place the light covers, fan covers, or other small fixtures into the solution for less than a minute—this is all it takes for the grime to loosen.

Remove the items, gently agitate any remaining grime if needed, and rinse thoroughly with soapy clean water or hose off.

Dry completely before reinstalling.

Do not let the solution sit on stone, wood, plastic, or tiles as it may cause staining
