Use the gentle or wool cycle in the machine: Only if the label says it's safe to machine wash. Place in a mesh laundry bag: If machine washing, this reduces friction and damage. Rinse thoroughly: Make sure all detergent is out to avoid residue or stiffness. Dry flat: Lay the item on a clean, dry towel and reshape it as it dries.
