Choosing an Ink Remover for Leather

If you’re sourcing something yourself in-store or online, look for a product that says:

  • Safe for sealed or pigmented leather

  • Designed to remove ink or biro marks

  • Does NOT contain bleach or acetone

  • ✅ Comes in a pen, wipe, or gel format (not a spray — more precise)

  • ✅ Says it’s suitable for finished leather furniture or lounges

🛑 Avoid anything that lists strong solvents or is made for suede, aniline, or absorbent leathers unless you’re sure of the type of leather you have.

📍 Always do a patch test in a hidden spot before applying anything to a visible area.
